We have been hearing the rumors of the Galaxy S9 since the beginning day of after the launch of the Galaxy S8 and the S8+. Everyday new leaks are coming and it never ends until the official launch of the phone itself. So, here is everything we know till now of the new beast; the Samsung Galaxy S9,
Okay the first thing we see is the design. The design of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be almost same as now. We will not be able to see any major change in the design. Samsung is gonna stick to this design with just few minor improvements. It’s not a big deal for me since the current design is still great if not the best. The front of the phone will be identical to the S8 or S8+, the only visible change will be in the back of the phone. The fingerprint scanner will be positioned beneath the camera instead on the side of the camera which is great position to be because our finger rests their naturally without any efforts so it will be much easier to access the fingerprint scanner.
Anotherchange we will be seeing in the galaxy S9+ is dual vertical oriented rear camera while the S9 will still stick to single rear camera. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be running the Snapdragon 845; the latest and the greatest from the Qualcomm. The new Snapdragon 845 processor is capable of recording either 720p at 480 FPS or 1080p at 240 FPS. 480 FPS is super slow motion, will be very fun to check it out after it comes. We believe the S9+ will have 6GB RAM and the S9 will have 4GB RAM.
Recently, the big news of the Galaxy S9+ was leaked, the Geekbench score. It was not like a photo one but the actual recorded Geekbench score that was uploaded on the Geekbench database. It scored “2422” in Single-Core Score and scored “8351” in Multi-Core Score as shown in the Geekbench database. Click here to see it.
The Geekbench score confirms that the S9+ will have 6GB of RAM although it is showing 5GB available and it also confirms that it will be running on Android 8.0, of course it will be topped with Samsung Experience UI. There will still be headphone jack. The rumor says it will now have stereo speaker and some improvement in Iris and Facial recognition.
There is a chance that Samsung will launch its new flagship on MWC (26 February – 1 March 2018) or CES 2018 (9 January – 12 January). We believe it will launch on the month of February 2018. It still isn’t fixed yet.
There are a lot of rumors floating around the web regarding the galaxy S9 and S9+ but still we couldn’t find any news about the price of the S9 and S9+. All we know is that it will not be cheap.
